Ok. Spoiler: I love this whisky! To create this whisky it got two different wine cask finishes. A first fill oloroso sherry butt cask and a first fill sauternes cask. I think the result is one of the most tasty I have tasted for a while.
Now let’s see how Edradour describes their own result:
Nose: Caramel sweets, sugared almonds, lemon sorbet and saddle leather.
Mouth: Creamy and waxy with apple notes.
Finish: Medium long.
Cask type: First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt and First Fill Sauternes Hogshead.

I agree with the carmel sweets and the sugared almonds in my nose. After some time I feel addicted to the sweetness and the smell of sweet flowers. The glass sticks a long period to my nose.
My tongue feels embraced by the golden looking liquid. It feels warm and smooth, a compliment to my taste buds. I was highly surprised after I saw that the whisky is bottled with cask strengh with an alcohol level of 55,9%.
